When will the yeast from saccharolicious be back in stock?
Second, since you can order yeast from The Yeast Bay directly with your order from White Labs....do you think you will add it to your inventory? I am looking at the various wild yeast and bacteria they sell; as well as Vermont Ale (WLP4000).

We are waiting for yeast from Saccharolicious - I think it will be within a couple of weeks.
Also, we are looking at The Yeast Bay. It would be good to know if more brewers are interested...?
Of course, more yeast and bacteria for the homebrewers!

OK, jag har tagit en förnyad diskussion med Yeast Bay. De kontaktade oss i april förra året och ville sälja i Europa genom oss, men då fick vi aldrig till en lösning som skulle funka (de ville ha för stora volymer direkt).
De kommer i så fall att kosta mer än Wyeast och White Labs. Skulle det fortfarande vara intressant om de kostar typ 129 kr?
Jag är ok med 129 kr.
129SEK seems a bit high for yeast. But I think I pay that for some of the bugs from Wyeast already.
And it is still probably cheaper than buying from England/AUS and having it shipped here...and safer for the yeast.
So yeah I can see paying that, but I probably won't use it for every batch at that price (at least as a primary sach strain).

Sorry to bring this up again. But I saw that White Labs was going to open a Lab at/with WarPigs in Denmark this spring, and start shipping yeast out this summer. Do you know if they will be growing the yeast from The Yeast Bay in Denmark? this might help drive the price down quite a bit.
It is interesting with the branch in Denmark. I have asked White Labs what it could mean for the distribution.
I also asked again about The Yeast Bay.

At some point yet to be determined, it will be mostly pro pitch out of Denmark. We might do vials later on.
"Pro pitch" is the professional size yeast package for microbreweries who don't want to propagate their yeast. Too large and too expensive for homebrewers.
Still good for swedish craftbeer though!
