Tack Jörgen!
It really doesnot matter how long one brews, there is always an over-site :-).

After your answer, and while I was making a pint 'starter' from the yiest I took from the original brew, I both checked the SG (1.016) and checked the lid (not 100% tight). After putting an extra 1/2 turn on the lid I realized there was activity the whole time!

ever too late to go back to basics when it comes to trouble shooting ;-).

Hej All:

I need advice concerning the secondary fermenter. I racked my brew  to the secondary fermenter and all yiest action stopped. Before I racked, the bubbles in the air lock were coming every 30 to 40 seconds so there is still more fermentation needed. I thought the yiest went dormant and in a day or two they would start to be active again. This did not happen yet.

My question to all out there is: Would you kick-start the yiest, or bottle in a week or two (after settling) and risk bottle rupture?

Thanks and regards!
Paul

Jag är jätte nyfikan också!

Jag vill köpa Draught Master men gärna med min öl ;-)
