			<description><![CDATA[<p>Det ser fin fint ut. Jag bryggde Bavarian Red Ale som mitt första öl och höll mig till receptet förutom att jag ökade på humlegivorna. Det blir ett väldigt brödigt öl och når sin höjd efter några månaders lagring, älskvärt! När det gäller Weyermanns Münchnermalt så anser jag att man kan köra med 100% (speciellt ifall man är ute efter en brödig ale!). Men sen så är ju det också en smaksak.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Crystal malt är en karamellmalt, alltså en malt som fått kristalliseras under mältningen så att den ger en sötaktig smak och mörkare färg.&nbsp; Chokladmalt är en rostad malt, mörkare i färggivningen och nötigare i smaken och inte söt. Båda ger inte mycket till utbyte.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hej Weinkeller.</p><p>Nu vet jag inte riktigt vad en Bavarian Red Ale är, men det låter spännande.&nbsp; Du planerar använda Munich Amber, som är 100% münchenermalt och i mina ögon en av de bästa flytande maltextrakten på marknaden. Men att göra hela ölen på münchenermalt kan göra ölet lite väl mäktigt? </p><p>Jag skulle nog minska ner Munich Amber till 3kg, och istället använda 1kg Muntons Light DME, plus 150 gram Caramunich och 25gram rostat korn.</p><p>Jag har steepat genom att låta krossad specialmalt sjuda lite i hett vatten, ungefär 20 minuter eller så.&nbsp; Därefter filtreras malten bort med durkslag och vattnet tillsätts vörtkoket när det återstår 20 minuter.</p><p>Till sist skulle jag använda en mer spännande och tysk humle, som t.ex. Mittelfrüh eller Tradition.&nbsp; Eller en amerikansk variant som Vanguard eller MtHood.<br />Lycka till!</p><p>Pål</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Jag skulle för egen del steepa lite Crystalmalt 200-300g och en gnutta chokladmalt 50-100g för att få lite maltigare/rundare smak.</p><p>När jag tidigare har steepat brukade jag mala malten i en köttvarn alt mixer, lägga allt i ett durkslag som är överdraget med tubgas, lägg i det kalla vattnet slå på plattan och när vattnet är uppe i 78c tar du bort det.</p><p>Enkelt som sjutton. Du kan även veva runt lite med durkslaget i vattnet för att få en bra genomsköljning av malten.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hej,</p><p>Då var det dags för första inlägget.</p><p>Jag har sysslat en del med vintillverkning innan men har börjat intressera mig för ölbryggning den senaste tiden. Inget avancerat än så länge utan extraktbrygder.
